Gelish Dip Now in Philippines | Gelish Dip Review
Happiness is freshly-painted nails. Nails that don’t chip and peel after a few days.
Last week, I got to try the newest technology in gel polish through the world’s leading gel polish brand, Gelish® Soak-Off Gel Polish. Let’s call it #GelishDip.
in featured photo: my nails after 7 days!
Gelish Dip is a revolutionary acrylic powder nail system that allows you to get gel-like nails without the need for a UV or LED lamp. The service is also a whole lot simpler compared to traditional gel manicure and takes only about 20-30 minutes to finish both hands. The best part, it is a lot more affordable.
Beauty and Butter in SM Megamall hosted the launch and I got to experience and witness how easy and fun it is to get new gel polish. It is very much like playing with powder and glitters as each nail is dipped in the powder.
1st Day with Gellish Dip
I found the process too entertaining yet complex. Nail technician should really pay attention to this intricate process of buffing, polishing and dipping the nails.
There are 120 shades to choose from – including cremes, glitters, shimmers, metallics and five French shades. They appear darker when worn though so better choose your shades carefully. I got playful with my nails and chose an accent of glitter for my ring finger.
I love that Gelish Dip is safe to use for pregnant women and removal (just like any other gel polish) won’t strip off the nail’s natural protection. The color is expected to stay up to 14 days. To maintain hygiene and sanitation, the Gelish Dip can only be applied to nails (no toes,, please!). I am on my 7th day now and the color is still nice and shiny.
4th Day with Gellish Dip
“What we’ve done here is make things a whole lot simpler for everyone,” shares Vu Nguyen of Nail Harmony, the company that founded Gelish and sister brand, Morgan Taylor. “We know for a fact that things can get really hectic for women, especially those who juggle multiple things on a day to day basis. That’s why we looked—and continue to look—for ways to allow you to have beautiful-looking nails faster and easier. What we have here is a fool-proof system that allows nail technicians to deliver consistent quality service each time, every time.”
Truth be told, I usually dismiss going to salon because I feel that I could spend more time productively doing something else. I prefer having Gel Polish because it stays shiny and strong even after weeks. I need not worry about chipping polish when dong laundry and cooking 😀
Get your Gellish Dip at Beauty and Butter Nail Lounge for only Php 450. Other nail salons are expected to start offering the service starting end of June. Follow @gelishph on Instagram and Gelish Philippines on Facebook for more information.
