Summer is ending soon. After all the beach swimming and sun roasting, it is time for my body to recover and get back to my normal skin tone. 

It is always my goal to get even skin tone and I sometimes use skin whitening lotions on body parts that need it more – like shoulders where I get tan lines, elbows, knees and feet. I also take supplements (if needed) to help me achieve a glowing skin from within.

PhytoflORAL or Colorless Carotenoids (800mg) | I am not going to be technical on this, but I admit that it is my first time to hear about Colorless Carotenoids. It provides the body with a natural protective shield against UV rays. It also acts as an anti-oxidant and prevents DNA damage. It also reduces melanin present in skin cells which includes dark acne spots, freckles and wounds. More importantly, it helps in evening out skin tone and gives it radiant glow. 

I saw some products online which carries PhytoflORAL or Colorless Carotenoids and they cost around Php 5,900 to Php 6,900. 

Kohjin L-Glutathione (500mg)| Other supplements only contain PhytoflORAL but Snow Crystal White Tomato also contains Kohjin L-Gluthathione to make it more effective. Bioperine  (Powdered Black Pepper Extract- Pipernigrum L)| Now, that sounded like an ingredient for cooking. True to its name and origin, Piperine, which is also known medically  through its trademarked name, BioPerine, is an extract derived from black pepper, Piper Nigrum L, and long pepper, Piper longum L. Piperine is what gives peppers their spicy taste!

Just like a special ingredient that we add when we cook, Bioperine acts as bio-enhancer” or “Nutrient Absorption Enhancer” so that our body can fully absorb the 2 main ingredients (PhytoflORAL and L-Glutathione).
