8-Step Korean Skin Care with Pure Beauty Urban Shield (available at Watson’s Philippines)

I would like to think I have long graduated from the crazy days of acne and breakouts. The worst days of my life was during my teen years. But even if I am older, I am still exposed to city’s harmful elements and heavy pollution. I get exposed to dirt, sweat and sun damage.

My friends know I hate commuting and staying under the sun (in the city). :p Sun can cause oxidative damage which result to skin losing protective cells that keep it looking young, fresh, soft and supple. 

I am not going to complain. The usual 3-step skin care of cleansing, toning and moisturizing has been replaced with more elaborate process. Thank you to our Korean friends who introduced a 10-step Korean skin care routine. 

The 10-step process seem time-consuming, but it only takes 21 days (3 weeks) to form a habit; and it doesn’t mean doing the 10 steps everyday (you cannot exfoliate everyday and you can skip the mask depending on your skin needs). 

Although I am not the type who usually try and change skin care products, I have so much faith with Korean products. I always look forward to buying new beauty boxes at Althea Korea. 🙂  I was excited to try the new Pure Beauty Urban Shield (available at Watson’s Philippines) which is the first of its kind to become the skin’s most potent shield against skin-damaging elements. Pure Beauty Urban Shield’s main ingredient is pomegranate which is rich with anti-oxidant properties.

Overall, I like the complete set. It is good to use complementing products rather than try different brands (although I do have my favorite brands for different parts of the body :)). I love how it simplified the Korean Skin Care routine. Although I haven’t really notice much improvement on my skin at this point (been using it for only 3 days), I love that the set doesn’t give me breakouts even if I just had my period. Looking forward to seeing or rather, unseeing signs of aging and stress.
