I still remember how I would write “a date in a beach” as my perfect date idea whenever I would answer a slumnote back when I was in High School.
I just always love the idea of going somewhere secluded — more like an escape – to a place that is private, where there are no other distractions.
But in the world of Instagram game and #travelgoals, we all want to visit and discover new exciting places and destinations. Inaladelan Island or German Island in Palawan seems like the perfect destination for campers and beach-lovers. It is accessible via a 30-minute boat ride from Port Barton.
Some of the bloggers who went to the trip came prepared with flash light that double as a lamp. While I relied on my mobile phone’s flashlight feature. I packed leggings and jacket though. I heard it becomes really cold at night – and it was cold that night. I was thinking of just sleeping outside the tent, in one of the sun beds, but I got worried about sand fleas. It is not all good and beautiful in the paradise, you see.
So yes, it was officially my first camping experience.
I slept to the sound of waves.
When I woke up, I saw palm trees from the see-through “window” of the tent.
