Current Faves: Skin Care Products + Summer Promo

It is the time of the year again when I always say “it is officially summer”.

And my skin has a love – hate relationship with humid weather. I have to make sure that my skin stays hydrated, protected and doesn’t break out so I can enjoy activities under the sun (or inside my room).

I am sharing my current favorite skin and body care products. Some of them are constant items in my list, while I have new products I love. One of the things I love about my job is I get to try new products – and I love it when my skin love them – allowing me to finish tubes and bottles.

Biore

I first learned about Biore 2 years ago when I got invited to walk-test the products in Intramuros. From then, I switched to Biore for all the right reasons.

It is light-weight, easy to apply and doesn’t feel sticky. One of the reasons I hate applying lotion or sunscreen is the sticky feeling – that makes you feel the heat even more.

Biore is the number one sunscreen in Japan. I was supposed to ask a friend to hoard for me – but thankfully, Biore and Digify Marketing sent me #bloggermail. Thank you!!!

I love the Biore UV Spray which does not only protects, but also refreshes. Another new favorite is the Biore Anti Pollution Lotion. It gives extra moisture with Vitamin E and Collagen which are both good for the skin.

Jergen’s Lotion

I use different types of lotion for different parts of my body. Loving Jergen’s because of its different variants. I use it mostly on my hands (after doing household chores) to keep my hands moisturized. I love its fresh scent too!

Human Heart Nature Balancing Facial Scrub

I didn’t realize I would fall in love with Human Heart Nature Balancing Facial Scrub

because I currently have my trusted skin care products through my facial care clinic. I usually use it after cleaning (thrice a week or when needed to scrub off dead skin cells and my skin) and it gives a smooth and fresh feeling after.

It has Elemi, a prized ingredient known to help balance sebum, cut down on bacteria and reduce skin inflammation, ideal for oily and combination skin.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner Toner

This is my second bottle of Etude House Wonder Pore Toner which I use in the morning before applying sunscreen and makeup. It is very light and helps maintain the skin’s PH level of 4.5 to 1 that refines skin and keeps its elasticity. It is as light as water. I really love this product and it works well with the other items I use.

Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum

We all know how good Vitamin C is to our body. I did a research for a good Vitamin C Serum and found Dear Klairs to be one of the highly recommended (my friend also suggested it).

Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum promises to energizes and rejuvenates your skin by improving skin tone and helps produce collagen in the skin.

I usually apply 2 to 3 drops on my skin. It, however gives a tingling, warm sensation and feels a little thick. I haven’t really seen a lot of improvement but I am keeping it in my list because it didn’t give a bad reaction or side effects with the other products that I am using.

I am expecting the Vitamin C Serum to come in dark bottle to prevent oxidation. So to prolong it, I keep it inside the box every after use.

Onsaemeein’s Magic Solution Skin Powder

This product previously appeared in my Current Faves but still including it here because I cannot live without it.

It is the perfect solution for treating blemishes and break outs ASAP. This “magical” solution comes with a powder right at the bottom, topped up with an anti-bacterial solution. I usually use it at bedtime and when I wake up the next morning, my blemishes had dried up.

Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask

Summer or Rainy Season, I always have problems with dry lips – and even if I always drink gallons of water, my lips still flake and dry out.

I currently use lip moisturizers that I use everyday like Burt’s Bees and Bam Balm by Beach Born. But at night I apply Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. It has a very soft and buttery texture. I love its scent too! It is a good overnight lip treatment.

Mise-En-Scène’s Perfect Repair Serum

My friend suggested that I use this product (and because I have so much trust in her), I bought a bottle online.

And she is right, it works better than the Argan Oil Hair Serum I was using.

Mise-En-Scène’s Perfect Repair Serum hair serum protects and hydrates with seven different kinds of oil: argan, camelia, marula, olive, jojoba, coconut and apricot oil.

My hair has been so dry and damaged because of hair dyes. I love that it saves my hair from completely dying.

These are my current favorite skin, body and hair products. I admit that I missed a couple of facial treatment schedules but I am glad that I do not easily break out and I can still wear makeup. All the featured products can be purchased via Watsons or Althea Korea.
