One of my favorite me-time activities is watching Youtube videos / documentaries. To be really in the “zone” I use my new realme Buds Air 2 Neo. 

realme Buds Air 2 Neo just recently launched. The “gleaming mirror” futuristic design of the earbuds is really something to talk about, but its performance is also something to rave. 

I have previously shared my review of the realme Buds Air 2 Neo. In this blog, I will do a quick comparison of the new realme Buds Air 2 Neo with the other earbuds that I previously used. 

For the design, I love the silicon materials of the realme Buds Air 2 Neo. It is smoother to touch, and more comfortable to wear because of the shape that fits the ear. I can walk around (or even do light exercises with it) without the fear of falling off. 

For an entry level earphones, the realme Buds Air can be used for different activities like listening to music, watching movies, or even playing games – as it has low latency that ensures sound and graphics are in sync. 

The bass sound for the realme Buds Air is more pronounced and solid compared to other earbuds of the same price. It also features Active Noise Cancelling (aside from Transparency Mode) – these are advanced features that other earbuds of the same price range wouldn’t carry. 

As the realme Buds Air 2 Neo is meant for different activities, it offers longer playtime of up to 28 hours (the other earbuds of the same price only gives up to 17 hours of playtime). The realme Buds Air 2 Neo can last for about 20 hours with ANC turned on, the same length of time for most other earbuds in the market in normal operation. With ANC turned off, the Buds Air 2 Neo can last up to 28 hours, a 65 percent increase from the 17 hours provided by the previous generation. The device also supports fast charging. With just 10 minutes of charging time, you’ll get 180 minutes of playback.

 It also supports fast charging of 10 minutes that gives 180 minutes of playtime. This is perfect for those who are always on the go, or the only means to take a break is to have coffee. 

I personally haven’t tried using it for gaming, but based on my experience using it for usual tasks like listening to music and watching videos, the sound experience is clear and loud. 

For its price of Php 2,499, the realme Buds Air 2 Neo is a good investment especially for those who are looking for an all-around earbuds that also speaks one’s individuality and style.
