Life is happening to us everyday – and for someone who loves to document life through photos and videos, I need a good smartphone to capture the little moments that I can share with my friends or keep with me forever.
During my travels in the past months, I no longer used my camera to document adventures. Most of the photos and videos you would see on my social media @ruthilicious were captured using the Vivo Y73. Recently, I received the newest vivo V23e 5G and I am excited to explore its features and see how it can make my stories alot more engaging. It is one of the best options from the popular V Series lineup that offers quality video at an entry-level price.

The vivo V23 5G comes with the unix, warranty card, USB cable, charger and earphones. I appreciate the inclusion of earphones since most of the smartphone brands no longer include a pair of earphones in their products.
vivo V23e 5G My Review and Experience
People might expect me to choose the Black one, but I love the Sunshine Crush color that gives a youthful, fun vibe. While unboxing, I notice that the texture of the casing is smooth and satin-like. The color changes to different hues when holding at different angles. It reminds me of summer.

It has a narrow bezel and thin body (measuring 7.41 mm and weighing 172 grams) yet it is comfortable to grip and feels good to touch. I rarely use such description when reviewing a phone, but it does feel nice and lustrous. The best part, it is not a finger-print magnet. The screen has a display ratio of 20.9 and 2400 x 1800 resolution so the images appear vivid on screen making capturing moments a lot more immersive.
I took on a day out for an errand / me-time and took random photos. I believe that the best memories are made of random moments. vivo’s V23e 5G’s features perfectly fit the vlogging experience. I played around with the camera features as it is one of the most used features when using a smart phone.

vivo V23e 5G is has 2MP Macro Camera, 50 MP Main Camera and Super Wide-Angle Camera which allows me to take photos in different or larger perspective.
While the the 44MP front camera can produce 44MP photos in ‘High resolution’ mode and 10MP photos in normal shooting mode. It automatically focuses on the eye of the subject making sure that it is always focused. It also comes with AR and Beauty features (which I can utilize when shooting videos).
It is powered with dyanmic and efficient memory so I can edit videos directly through it without lagging. It uses the idle ROM to be used as RAM which is an innovation in memory management.
Perfectly fit for travels and tight itinerary, as it can charge up to 69% in just 30 minutes.

Currently, my only recommendation is better sound quality. Although I personally do not use my smartphone for loud music, this is something that most users might look for in a smartphone.

The vivo V23e 5G is an affordable smartphone packed with impressive camera features for vlogging and documenting life. I would recommend this to people who want to upgrade their smartphones for a better camera experience.
