MakeUp Magazine Launch

It was an afternoon event, yet the Early Breakfast Club in Century Mall, Makati was filled with makeup lovers and fashionable bloggers. Everyone’s early and excited for the Grand Launch of MakeUp Magazine!

I was excited! For someone who rarely wears makeup, I need all the resources available for me to understand how I can make the most out of the makeup I owned and acquired.

MakeUp Magazine is Flair Publishing’s flagship title. It focuses on empowering women
through beauty and wellness by engaging in various makeup and fashion trends. MakeUp Magazine gives a dose of timely beauty solutions to intimate glimpse on celebrity secrets. Plus, what makes it a more interesting piece? There’s Kim Jones as the Editor-in-Chief.

“We at Makeup Magazine are really focusing on promoting and sharing beauty inside and out—from spotlighting inspirational cover girls to deciphering concealers. We want to create a magazine where women can be inspired to be themselves, try something new, and experience makeup in a fun way!” – Kim Jones

I actually missed reading beauty articles on a paper. Ever since I discovered beauty sites, I changed my subscription to digital versions, and totally unsubscribed after. It is good to be able to read something in print – and MakeUp Magazine’s layout is clean and fresh – very much like a site too!

During the launch, we were asked to post our selfies and to make a collage of the yummy food and beautiful walls and displays inside the Early Breakfast Club. It was my first time in the cafe and interestingly, my first time to have dilis with champorado!

It was insanely good!
