What I thought was just a simple restaurant opening turned out to be a fun chicken party! WingStop opened its newest and biggest store in the Philippines in Glorietta 2 earlier. Imagine: loud funky music, cold beer and 9 flavors of chicken wings, it was one of the most unique Chicken Parties in town (and I love it!)
It was actually my first time at WingStop. I got a little too loyal with my favorite KFC and pricey steaks, that I missed out the unique flavors this restaurant is offering its diners. How can I missed the 7 Wingstop locations in Manila?
Thankfully, our dear friends from Wingstop (hello Walden, Paolo and Josie!) were at the party to introduce what makes Wingstop special.Â
WingStop, a fast-casual restaurant which has been operational in the Philippines for a year is made with love from Texas. True to its brand culture of sharing and celebration, these perfectly fits the fun-loving traits of Filipinos. And hey, I have witnessed how Wingstop celebrated its Glorietta 2 store opening!Â
And while we were at the party, despite different musical tastes and genre, I know everyone understands the same language – Flavors!Â
Let’s decode the Wingstop’s 9 Chicken Wings Flavors!
Errr… I kind of got lost with the pictures because they all look the same (chicken wings) but I do remember the flavors I love!
Okay, so we were given stamps that we needed to complete to esnure that we taste all the 9 flavors.Â
My first taste bite of Wingstop was the Atomic! My lips and tongue burnt like hell! They are serious about the sauce, sweat and tears description!
Cajun also gave a warmth of Hot Buffalo! So much taste and madness on these little chicken parts!
Hot Buffalo may sound like your classic Buffalo Wings but there is something about the blend of heat and tang that made it famous!
For those who love the classic Buffalo Wings, go for the Mild Buffalo.
For the finger smacking goodness, you may want to try the Hickory Smoked BBQ. Can I say extra rice? 🙂Â
Lemon Pepper offers a unique taste with a hint of citrus with every bite (it is not like you usual Lemon Chicken, mind you!).
I love the Teriyaki for it is friendly with the Asian tongue and Filipino tastebuds who love sweet sauce.
But my real favorite – Garlic Parmesan and Louisiana Rub! I cannot find the words to describe them, you just have to order and taste them and help me complete this blog description 😉Â

Wingstop Chicken Wings Prices:
5 PCS +1 flavor 235
7 PCS +2 flavors 325
11 PCS +2 flavors 495
20 PCS +3 flavors 875
The Wingstop Chicken Wings are the biggest in the country and they are cooked per order (they don’t get reheated under lamps like how they do it in other quick service restaurants!).
17 is a special number for Wingstop because they know the process of pre-crave, anticipation and savouring the moment.Â
Oh hey, aside from Chicken Wings, Wingstop also offers Fried Chicken Sandwiches, Sides, Chicken Tenders and Combo Meals. I cannot wait to go back and try them. Wingstop Glorietta 2 looks like a perfect hangout place for killing time. Imagine cold beer and spicy chicken devils!
The after-math! Yes, we love Coffee Bean 🙂
Yet another fun and creative event by ARC. Thank you so much ARC and Wingstop for having me! It is nice to be #FriendsofARC!
Nice catch-up time with former bosses, too! 😉Â
Have you tried (chicken party at) Wingstop?
