Converse held a private press preview of their Spring Summer 2016 Collection last January 21st at Pineapple Lab in Makati. As expected, it is such an exciting, colorful and spunky collection from the iconic brand.
In true Converse fandom fashion, everyone came wearing a Converse shoes. But Converse does know how to make even a press launch a lot more fashionable and rocking for the guests – they let us wear one of the newest pair from the collection – the Chuck Taylor All Star II Mono.
I had a little Cinderella moment when I fit and wore the pair. You see, having such big size for shoes is a challenge for me. I usually buy my shoes from Converse Men’s Collection. But just like a curse and a gift – I got the white parchment pair. It seems that all the girls were envious. Well, they were wearing the classic black pair.
Funny how someone told me that he couldn’t imagine me in Converse. He got used to seeing me in heels and sexy shoes. But I am telling you, Converse is sexy.
