I have an oily, combination skin and it didn’t occur to me that it is the same chemical element that would save my skin.
I heard about the good benefits of using oil in the skin as an anti-aging and moisturizing agent. It was a war between tea tree oil, argan oil and coconut oil. But it is the Marula Oil that is hailed as the best body and skin oil.
Read my review of Marula Oil and why it is my favorite skin care product.
I recently received a bottle of Pure Marula Oil by John Paul Selects in the #bloggermail. It was my first time to hear about Marula Oil and I was quite hesitant to use it.
I carefully read what are the benefits of using Marula Oil:
Marula Oil is an all around oil that treats burns and skin irritation.
Packed with healing and reparative ingredients, it penetrates quickly into your skin without leaving residue.
Marula Oil has high content of fatty acids like Omega 6 & 9 also makes for a superior anti-aging treatment that plump up skin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
It has 60% more antioxidants than Argan Oil and is more powerful in fighting free radicals that cause pre-mature skin aging.
It is non-comedogenic and does not result in clogged and enlarged pores, minimizing the greasy look and after-feel especially in the sweltering heat.
Marula Oil has high antioxidant level, lightning-fast absorption, satin finish, and delicate essential oil scent.
My Marula Oil Experience and Review
I was immediately sold to the idea that it is non-comedogenic. For someone who has oily skin and has the tendency to easily break out, it is my main consideration when buying and using products for my skin.
I started using the Marula Oil last week as a night serum. I love the bottle has an easy dropper to control spillage. One drop is all I need to cover the face area. Every night, I gently massage Marula Oil in my face and neck.
Marula Oil feels so light and it is easily absorbed by my skin – giving it a smooth and satin finish. True to its promises, it didn’t leave my skin oily.
The following morning when I woke up, I was surprised that my pimple has dried out. I felt that my skin is tighter. I don’t have the best face skin because of previous acne scars, but I felt the difference in my face appearance and texture.
The other day, when I tried applying and wearing makeup, I felt that it is much more easier to glide and apply in my skin.
I am continuing to use Pure Marula Oil and hoping to see finer and better results. I heard that celebrities like Dr. Vicky Belo, Liz Uy and Lucy Torres Gomez are also using Marula Oil.
You can also use Pure Marula Oil as product booster. Simply add 2 to 3 drops of Pure Marula Oil to your cleanser, makeup mask or foundation as a skin product booster. Currently, I am massaging excess oil on my nails to strengthen them (and it seems that Marula Oil is doing wonders on it). I am planning to apply Marula Oil in my hair and body as a replacement to body lotion. I know that sounds a little too expensive 🙂
