Postcards from Greece [Photo Diary featuring Moto Z2 Play] 

I will always have a love affair with photographs and memories. I love taking photos even before social media and photo-sharing sites have become popular. I take photos of food, places, tickets, moments and what-nots.

I didn’t start good though. I still laugh (and cringe) whenever I check the old photos I took – and how un-pretty my editing style was. But everyday we learn new things. Everyday we discover new tools and styles.

I became really critical when it comes to documenting my travels and taking my photos. That is the very reason I bought a Fujifilm Camera and adopted an expensive lens (we lovingly call, keropi). But the reality of travel life, it is hard to balance the time in exploring new places and documenting every moment of it. This is when a reliable smart phone with nice camera becomes your favorite travel buddy.

A few days before my flight to Greece, I received a mail from one of my fairy godmothers in Lenovo. I was pleasantly surprised to unbox a … TENEN!!!  Moto Z2 Play! It even came with a 360 Camera!

Moto Z2 Play is a mid-range phone from Lenovo/Motorola. I like that it is thin and sleek, and easy to carry around. It is compatible with other Moto Mods – like Moto Style Shell, ncipio offGRID Power Pack., BL Soundboost Speaker Mod, Hasselblad True Zoom. You can easily connect them using the magnets at the back of the Moto Z2 Play.

I am hearing a lot about Moto Mods but only now did I get to appreciate them more. Simply, I can add accessories and features in my new Moto Z2 Play without upgrading my phone!

My Final Verdict

I totally fell in love with Moto Z2 Play. It captures nice photos even in dark, low light environment. The photos are vibrant and lighting is balance. The photos are sharp even after I transferred them in my laptop (the screen is not deceiving). The battery can last for more than 5 hours (data/wifi on). It gives me 64 GB allowing me more space for downloading movies (ah, netlflix!) and taking/recording videos.

I also love the 360 Camera that came with it! I am still trying to figure out how to edit and upload them in Youtube (does anyone have a tip? tutorial?).


Moto Z2 Play saved me during my Greece Travel. My luggage got delayed for 4 days and I didn’t have my camera charger with me on my hand carried bag. I would have missed 2 days worth of memories if not for this phone. Thank you to my Lenovo family for always saving me!
