Tenya's Ramen: TempuRamen

Trying Out Tenya’s Ramen: TempuRamen

There is always something comforting about eating Ramen. I don’t know where the Filipinos got its love for Ramen. Maybe it is rooted from our love for instant cup noodles (back then, this is the closest we could taste the hearty Japanese dish) .
It is a joy to have more and more Ramen Restaurants opening in Manila.
During our 8-day trip in Greece, Rodel and I suddenly dreamed of Ramen  😁😁😁 We suddenly craved for something very Asian.

I was in Megamall yesterday and I was surprised to see that Tenya now serves Ramen! I had to try!

Tenya's Ramen: TempuRamen

Tenya’s newest offering is a fusion of two Japanese Favorites – Tempura and Ramen! The TempuRamen is actually a set meal that comes with a bowl of Ramen and Tempura Set.
Tenya’s Ramen is an original Tenya recipe made of tonkatsu broth topped with soft-boiled egg, corn, ground pork sauteed in their original don tare sauce.

It is very simple but flavorful. The wheat flour noodles are perfect and chewy. It is not at all soggy even if I took a little while to take photos 😁 I like that the bowl is just of perfect size to finish to satisfy one’s craving.

As Tenya is a Tempura Specialist, expect that the Tempura set which consists of light-battered, crisp black tiger prawn, eggplant and green beans tempura are perfect to enjoy with your ramen bowl.

It is a good deal for only Php 295 or upgrade to Php 365 for 2 pieces of black tiger prawns.
I also ordered the Salted Lime Shake! It is like a cocktail. I love the play of citrus flavor and kick of salt in every sip! Very refreshing and soothing especially that I’ve been nursing an itchy throat. 😷
