Ayumi Ange Curl Lash Extension Review + My First Eyelash Extension Experience

Ayumi Ange Curl Lash Extension Review + My First Eyelash Extension Experience

I am one of those girls – curious and wanting to have long eyelashes.  I already tried applying eyelash serum to help it grow longer. But I guess, those potions cannot do magic on my lashes.
I considered eyelash extension, but the thought of having a foreign object inside my body, or on my eyelashes just makes me feel uncomfortable – probably because the ones I always see from others appear too fake, hard and uncomfortable. When I heard about Ayumi Eyelash Extension and how natural it feels and looks, I know it is a good choice.

Ayumi is the biggest eyelash extension company in Japan. I have so much trust on anything that is made in Japan so I scheduled myself for eyelash extension.
I love the Ayumi Clinic which is homey with lazy boy seats and nice wood displays. Ayumi also offers Tokyo Bright Teeth Whitening Services and Gel Polish among other services.

I was a bit torn which lash extension to get, but I decided on the newest eyelash extension, Ange Curl which is more natural-looking. Ayumi eyelash extensions come in a variety of lengths, thickness, curl styles, colors and materials using 100% sable mink ultra light lashes from Japan.
I thought the procedure would only last for 20 minutes, but it took more than an hour to “install” the eyelashes. I had my eyes closed the whole time, and when I opened my eyes – voila, I feel like a real girl.

I let one week before I make this review and here are my thoughts:
The Ange Curl feels so light and natural. Unlike falsies which are heavy on the eyes, Ayumi’s Ange Curl Lashes feels so light as if you are not wearing eyelash extension.
Because it feels so light, I oftentimes unconsciouly rub my eyes! And then I am reminded of the eyelash extension. Huhhh.
I like that it is low maintenance. I just need to brush it regularly (especially in the morning, and after shower) to keep its shape and spread. Ayumi provides a spoolie.
Although, I cannot use any oil-based make-up, or mascara, or eyelash curler (but actually, I don’t really need to wear them because the eyelashes are already so pretty!)
The procedure is painless and downtime is only up to 5 hours (in which you cannot wash your eyes).
Well, okay you cannot do sauna, steam for 2 days after the eyelash extension procedure.
When taking a bath, I have to be very careful not to rub the eyes – same when patting face with towel.
But I think those are manageable sacrifices for pretty lashes that can last for a month.
I even went for a swim (booth in the pool and sea water) and my lashes stayed strong, curled, and pretty!
I can go for a re-touch after 10 days. Charge is Php 500 per visit.
The verdict is, I am happy with my Ayumi Ange Curl lashes and I am okay to do it again!
