I am not kidding when I say doing the laundry is one of my favorite exercises. I still do hand-wash especially for delicate clothes. Every weekend (or whenever I have free day), I dedicate it as laundry day. 

When I get busier though, my mom would offer to wash my clothes. I knew that I am extremely busy when I no longer have time to do the laundry and my dirty clothes have piled up. My normal laundry time usually takes 1 to 2 hours – no joke. So I really allot time for my laundry.

I think things will change after my discovery of Swosh Laundry App. 

Swosh is the first Filipino-made Laundry and Cleaning App in the Philippines launched in June 2018.  What got me interested about it is its catchy name – swosh – like the sound of babbling washing machine. To tell you honestly, I do not normally trust laundry shops but I have faith that Swosh partnered with reputable laundry shops basing on the different services that the app offers.

How to Book a Laundry Service via Swosh App?

1. Download the Swosh App via Play Store or iOS.
2. Register and pin your location.
3. From your location, you choose your preferred time and Swosh will list different partner laundry shops within your area, providing different price ranges based on your budget. 

4. Book your preferred time of pick-up and delivery.

You will receive an email confirmation and notification on the app.

Come my preferred pick-up day, a Swosh representative picked up my laundry (he first sent an SMS notifying me that he is on his way and even reminding me to separate my whites and colored clothes and to make sure the clothes’ pockets are emptied). 

While Swosh is doing magic in my clothes, I got the time to work on my backlogs, bond with mom, attend meetings/events, and even watch movies at Netflix. 

I love that it is convenient, practical and easy to use – providing the same solution such as my favorite apps that help with my everyday life stresses.

Before Swosh delivered the laundry back at home, I received notification via the Swosh App and an SMS of the Swosh Representative. I was not home, but I already endorsed the delivery to mom.

I checked my newly washed clothes and everything is good – everything is smelling good – washed, pressed and folded. 

Swosh gives customers 24 hours to check on newly washed clothes and report any concerns.
