I will keep this blog simple and modest just like what the brand, Modestt Skin Care represents – simplicity.

I do not always try new products on my skin (or make a review), but Modest has a good rating and review on Beauty MNL where you can buy the products online. 

Modest is a Hong Kong-based skin care brand which products are formulated in Europe and Japan. It utilizes high quality cosmetic grade, acttive ingredients. I received a package from @modestskincare.ph which includes 6 serums/formulation that I can mix and match depending on my skin condition and problem area. 

The simple, clean bottles contain different serum that has a different formulation, vitamins and active ingredients. It gives users flexibility on the type of ingredients they need, or allergic to. 

Personally, I want to focus on controlling breakouts and addressing aging. The package I received even includes a cheat sheet that has a combination of different products.

Modest products do not contain any harmful ingredients such as parabens, methylisothiazolinone (MIT), mineral oils, heavy metals, artificial colorings, and hydroquinone. To reduce animal suffering and to be cruelty-free, Modest. does not do any animal testing.

Cocktail (Vitamin ABCE) Serum (Php1,100)

A multi-vitamin serum with HA for hydration, brightening and anti-aging.

Enriched with vitamins A, B3, B5, C, and E to offer a broad spectrum of nutrients to the skin; lightweight, the fast-absorbing formula instantly boosts moisture levels, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, brightens, and rejuvenates the skin; maximizes moisture retention with hyaluronic acid and squalane; formulated in Switzerland; free of alcohol, parabens, hydroquinone, SLS, heavy metals, artificial coloring, MIT, and mineral oils.

The serum moisturizes the skin, controls sebum production, strengthen the skin barrier, prevents pimples, evens out skin tone, lightens blemishes, and suppresses the transfer for melanin.

Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) + Hyaluronic Acid Serum (Php 950)

A high-functioning Peptide Serum for anti-aging

It contains 10% Matrixyl, an anti-aging peptide composition from France that is effective in reducing the look of fine lines, static and dynamic wrinkles, and stimulates collagen synthesis and skin repair. Hydraulic Acid is added to improve moisturizing performance for a youthful and plumed look. 

Alpha Arbutin + B3 (Php 800)

A skin brightening serum with hydration support

With a combination of skin brightening ingredients such as Alpha-Airbutin and Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), this serum is highly effective in reducing hyperpigmentation and dark spots to even out skin tone. 

Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Renewal Serum (Php 700)

A mild AHA for acne, blemishes and hyperpigmentation

The Mandelic Acid, a potent ingredient, but is milder fruit acid than other AHAs. It has antibacterial properties; effectively fights acne-causing germs to address troubled complexions; effectively removes blackheads, tightens the look of pores, and smoothens skin texture.

Hyaluronic Acid + Beta-Glucan Serum (Php 750)

A high-functioning hydrating serum with pure-hydraulic acid

Enriched with Hydraulic Acid which can absorb water up to 1,000 times its molecular weight, this serum can instantly moisturize, reduce wrinkles, and improve skin texture increasing skin’s elasticity.  Beto-Glucan is added to the formula to enhance skin’s defense against irritation.

I am currently using the Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) + Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Cocktail (Vitamin ABCE) Serum, and I think my skin loves the formula and combination. I do not get allergic reaction and my skin feels lighter and well-rested especially after waking up in the morning.
