SM Mall of Asia, or SM MOA is not just considered as one of the largest shopping malls in the Philippines but is also a leisure and food-crawl destination.
The Mall of Asia is now a home to 3 new restaurants of The Bistro Group – Italianni’s, Modern Shang, and Watami. We recently visited the newly renovated North Veranda Wing of Mall of Asia and tried out the Holiday Dishes of these 4 restaurants.
Sharing the must-try dishes from Italianni’s, Modern Shang and Watami.
Watami
Cher Tasaaki Shikawa (Chef Masa) brings to Watami his take on flavorful and classic Japanese cuisine steeped in Japanese culture and history. He has over 30 years of experience gained in his own restaurants and from various stints in some of Manila’s top-rated hotels.
His latest creations that you must-try in Watami includes Atlantic Black Cod, Flame-Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Wasabi Sesame Sauce, Smoked Duck Breast, Dep-Fried Japanese Oysters, Thinly-Sliced Pork Hotpot with Tonkotsu Soup, Steamed Scallops and Wakame with Vinegary Miso Soup.
Enjoy these with assorted sushi, tempura, ramen and more.

Italianni’s is more like an institution when it comes to Italian-American Dining. The newly-opened 100-seater Mall of Asia branch serves all your favorite dishes from Appetizers, Salads, Pastas, Pizzas, Mains and desserts.
