On our last full day in Bali, we decided to just explore the attractions near our hotel – Hotel Restu Bali.

We usually go out before lunch so we have time to get 8 hours of sleep, work or do social media, and just take our time. On that particular day, it was the Full Moon Festival, making it a bit more difficult to secure a Grab ride. We decided to just walk on our way to Warung Murah (where we had lunch). Fortunately, Nyaman Art Gallery was conveniently located nearby, just a short walk from Warung Murah.

Nyaman Art Gallery is a modern gallery that features contemporary art from emerging Bali-based artists. It is the first international contemporary art gallery in Bali. The word “nyaman” means comfortable, and true to its name, we got to freely roam around the gallery and rooms.

This is the first artwork/art style that really caught my attention. It was nice to discover a new artist; her name is Vira Olevska.

Beside the Nyaman Art Gallery is a cafe/coffee shop and store, Nyaman Cafe and Boutique. We took the time to enjoy iced coffee and late before exploring the place.
