[Review] Shiseido Ultimune After 7 Days

August 30, 2014

It’s exactly a week ago when the August BDJ Box has arrived, and inside was a sample of the new Shiseido Ultimune. It is a revolutionary product which is an ultimate treatment for enhancing skin’s essential multidefensive power against visible signs of aging, environmental factors, and daily stress. It restores skin’s powers to resist, protect, regenerate, and strengthen, leaving skin smooth and deeply nourished. It is a product of its own It is not serum, or a moisturizer.

I am not the type who tries every new product in the market, but Shiseido’s Ultimune promise is so inviting, I had to try. I felt like Eve seeing the forbidden fruit for the first time. The product is stored in red capsule-like bottle, but it is not at all forbidden. I took my share of the fountain of youth.

My Skin Profile:
I have oily skin, with low moisture level. It looks dull and unhappy.

How to use it?
Spritz one or two drops, and apply in your cheeks first and massage in to the face (and neck). It is meant to be used after toning, and before moisturizing or applying sunblock.

What I like about the Shiseido Ultimune:
Its consistency is like a diluted serum. Very light and easy to apply. It doesn’t feel tight on the skin. It smells fresh and clean too.
What I don’t like about the Shiseido Ultimune:
I only got a sample size which is good for only 10 days! Haha 🙂
Result Review:
On the first day that I used this product, I have noticed that my pimple had dried out when I woke up the following morning. My skin doesn’t feel oily and it is more supple to touch. I only get to touch my hair whenever I apply creams and I have noticed a difference on my skin texture. I have to be honest that I don’t get to religiously apply the Shiseido Ultimune every morning and night, but the result is impressive. My main concern is having breakouts or pimples whenever I use new products, and I am glad that Shiseido is nicer to my skin. My skin is telling me that I should get the full size. 🙂
I am hopeful to see and experience better results after a month. Let’s see…
Shiseido Ultimune 30 ml Php 3,500

Thank you once again to BDJ Box for the opportunity to try this product! 🙂
