A few weeks ago, I received a package from Dr. Vicky Belo.. (okay, it is from the awesome Nuffnang team!). The package is from the Belo Nutraceuticals. A cute dainty bag with mason jar and Belo’s new product – the Belo Collagen Powder Drink.
I was ready to embrace the glorious life and be #BeYouthiful after reading the materials. It was like holding the elixir of staying young ( I want to keep it in my safety box!)
But, I have to postpone testing and tasting the product, because I was traveling (and I was worried about side effects). Last week, I got the chance to try the new Belo Collagen Powder Drink and here’s my review of the new product.

First off, what causes aging?
Dr. Vicky Belo compared our skin with a new sofa. When you are young, it is like a brand new sofa. When you sit in a new sofa, you pushed back up; but with old one, you sink in. Same with the skin – and it is because of collage. When you are young, the mattress (skin) feels firm. The collagen which is 70% of our skin support the structure naturally making it plump and youthful. Collagen prevents wrinkles.
But as we age, production of collagen declines. Add the stresses of life, daily wear and tear, sun exposure and other negative factors.
Collagen Powder Drink
Collagen Powder Drink is not new in the market. It is very popular in Japan, and now, we have collagen powder drink from Belo Nutraceuticals.
The new innovative product promises anti-aging benefits that work from within. It is made of high-absorption collagen that gives skin an abundance of strength, elasticity and resilience. It is also infused with Hyaluronic Acid.
I have to research about the Hyaluronic Acid as it is the first time I encounter this ingredient. I am skeptical about trying and drinking new products.
The Hyalurinoc acid is naturally present in the body, but it is also use in plastic surgery as lip filler, or to heal wounds. It is a moisture magnet that improves skin hydration.
I was all set to try and have my share from the fountain of youth. I mixed the Belo Collagen Powder Drink with coffee. It has this funny smell (I was expecting a milky tone because it is pure white). It made my coffee lighter and more like a latte. There is an aftertaste but tolerable.
