The camouflage print which is used by military to disguise or blend with the surrounding found a new definition in the fashion scene. I would like to think it is now a timeless piece or an everyday print that one can wear to make a statement, stand out or give a highlight to a rather boring ensemble.

We remembered how Valentino suited up Ben Stiller’s Derek Zoolander and Owen Wilson’s Hansel in custom fatigues for Paris Fashion Month earlier this year. It was like a call that camo is back in the fashion scene. We have seen Rihanna and Miley Cyrus wear the menswear favorite. You have seen me wear camo when I went to climb the Great Wall of China.

I was teamed with our favorite fashion bloggers – Sarah, Ava, Christine and Phoebe. Unfortunately, we didn’t win. Though I still can’t get over the banana problem (I was thinking the question was asking how many bananas were consumed at the 15 mile mark – the answer would have been 14.28 bananas – but they say the question was asking for 20 mile mark – which is 19.04 bananas). Okay, I don’t know why I am explaining it here. I just want to make sure I still know my math. Haha

Truly, the Camouflage is such a timeless print. I usually wear it to add a touch of funk and style to a boring ensemble – usually when wearing black or plains.

My favorite lazy day look  – plain top, jeans, boots and funky shoes/boots + the new Veloci Camo Watch to make the look stand out.
