Fasten your seat belts because I am taking you back to January 2016 when Asus Philippines flew us to Cebu to experience the Sinulog Festival through the new Asus Zoom.
We were traditionally welcomed in Marriott Hotel, Cebu with the catchy song and dance for the Sinulog Festival. In a private event attended by tech media and bloggers who came from different parts of the Philippines, the Asus Zenfone Zoom was unveiled with a presentation by ASUS Philippines Country Manager for System Business Group George Su, Product Manager for Smartphone Lenny Lin, and PR Head Eason de Guzman.

After setting in the hotel, it was time to explore the city. I have been to different islands in Cebu but it was my first time to explore the city.

Although we do not observe/celebrate Sinulog Festival (because of my religious affiliation), I was curious about the festivity because of the colorful parade and the upbeat music from drums and native gongs that I was hearing since we landed in Cebu.

.. and this is how we looked after battling with the crowd. Haha
Thee photos turned out decent and okay. They were taken in quick snaps (just because, we have limited time and we want to truly experience the city – and not waste our time with the camera).
At night, Asus treated us to some fine wine in Blue Elephant with a nice view of the city
I love the Cebu skyline. We got to test the Asus Zenfone Zoom in low light mode.

The following day, Rodel and I decided to skip the parade and just enjoyed the pool – with the Asus Zenfone Zoom.
Someone probably thought my legs are perfect subject for photography.

I stalked someone. The Asus Zenfone Zoom made me see clearly the difference of expectation and reality 🙂
I met adorable kids during our sweet stay in Marriott.

The Asus Zenfone Zoom truly works in moments like this – when you want to take closeup pictures but doesn’t want to be too close :p
Thank you so much once again Asus Philippines for the opportunity to first try the Asus Zenfone Zoom and for the letting us experience the #SinulogUpClose (and the nice pool in Marriott Cebu!).
