Am I Ready to Live Abroad + Fil-Global Immigration Services
Wine & Cheese Immigration Night
When I say that I would never get used to saying goodbye, it is because my family (siblings) are all living in different countries and places. It is always a sad moment whenever we would say goodbye and would send them to their flights.

As such, I always get asked if I didn’t want to work or live abroad? I know personally I cannot (yet) because I am the only kid here staying with my parents. It is something that I haven’t really given much thought of. All I know is, I just wanted to go visit places and be a tourist. I could imagine how hard it is to really live and work in a certain country. Imagine the cultural differences, language (or accent) barrier, work ethics and weather.
The longest I have lived in a another country was for one month. But it was easier because we live in a hotel, we have allowance,  and there’s housekeeping to take care of the laundry.

Personally I know I am not yet ready to live and work abroad, because:
1. I am not financially secured. Moving in another country requires more money than living here.
2. I am not yet ready to leave my life in Manila. Still having fun here!
3. I am not yet ready to take BIGGER risks. I am still living a risky life now.
4. I am not yet ready to change my last name (what?). Okay, that’s a different story :p

But these points make me feel like I am ready to live in another country:
1. I am open to new cultures.
2. I can live in a really cold country.
3. I am ready to learn new language.
For those who wish to live and work abroad and need assistance, they can check out Fil-Global Immigration Services Corporation (FGISC) , a world-class company that started in the Philippines offering immigration and university placement to the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and many others.
