I always love Denny’s big servings and the mix of Filipino and American dishes in its menu. The Denny’s Uptown Parade store is open 24 hours. Perfect place for having breakfast after a night out. 

After lunch, we strolled around Uptown Mall. I already made a mental list of the stores to visit in my mind. I don’t know about you, but every time I am out to visit a store or location, I make a list of things to do or shops to visit. First on my list in Uptown Mall is the Complex Shoe Store. 

Complex Shoe Store carries brands like Pony, Sperry, Keds, Polo, Saucony, Havaiannas and other accessory brands

I wanted to buy new pair of Sperry White Sneakers that I got before; but unfortunately, they didn’t have my size. 

This Sperry pair served me well, I wanted a new pair.

I was eye-ing these cute pairs of Keds x Kate Spade sneakers; but yet again, they didn’t have my size. I wish more shoe stores would start making shoes bigger than size 10 for the girls! 😭😭😭

At the 3rd Level of Uptown Mall, we found Ilahui, a fast fashion concept store which sells wide range of products like home items, accessories, apparel, makeup and knick knacks. The store and products are inspired by Korean Fashion. 

There are so many stuff to buy in the store. It is a total wasteland! I found a hard time choosing what I really need. I have so many wants, but I wanted to buy only the things that I need. I decided to pick items for gifting to friends and some items for organizing home. I felt like a certified tita!

Ilahui sells makeup and beauty products. I have a few trusted skin care brands so I just decided to pick wet tissues in funky packagings.

Why, I suddenly missed my corporate life when I also get to work and visit high-rise buildings and see interesting sights from my workstation. For the curious cats, I used to work in Eastwood City.

For dinner, we headed to Mama Mia which is right at the ground level of Uptown Mall. Mama Mia transported us to Italy with its impressive menu, rusted brick walls, mosaic tiles and servers named Regina and Maria. 

For dinner, we had cheese plate, pasta, salad and pizza. MJ joined us for a gustatory dinner and (as always) epigrammatic conversation that night. 

It was a good day to date my friends ❤️ and discover new things (and secrets – around the city and about them 😁) .
