My First IV Drip Experience with Svelt’i

Life lately is all about self-care.

My First IV Drip Experience

IV means injection – and although I am not a scared cat when it comes to getting injection, I still felt a pang of worry because it was my first time.

My nurse tried injecting and inserting the catheter through my right arm. She already mentioned that I have such thin vein and she was right, I felt pain when she released fluids – and she was quick at addressing it. She said that when patients have thin or fragile veins in the arm, they use the veins in the hands (which are more sensitive). Typing these things make me weak. Seriously. I could never work in the medical field. 

Anyway, we tried on my left arm and everything went well. She left me with a buzzer (in case I need help with anything). The Svelt’i room has a TV and magazines for entertainment, but I chose to observe and “feel” the treatment.

The drip session lasted for only 15 to 20 minutes. It was really quick. 

She said that you can take it once a week, or some people do it twice a week for maximum result.

IV Drip in Svelt’i is facilitated by registered nurses. The only discomfort I felt was the time I didn’t move my arm. There was only a tingling sensation during the process.

I think the immediate result that I feel after taking the IV is the much improved energy level. I woke up today feeling refreshed and recovered. 
I also noticed that my breakouts had healed and dried out. I was feeling sick last weekend and I had major breakouts.
