Circus Day with Giordano

November 24, 2014

Twenty five (25) years ago, Giordano was born and became a part of many lives and wardrobes. Giordano is part of many of my life’s milestones. My first official pair of jeans was from Giordano (no more hand-me-downs from my sisters! haha), my first official work slacks was from Giordano and my first love for plain tees was because of Giordano Classics. Giordano saved me from the cruel fashion shopping scene back then, when it was a challenge to look for a pair of pants for a tall woman that I am.

Last Friday, Giordano celebrated its 25th Anniversary in Eastwood Mall with a circus themed event. Rain or shine the party was on – and no heavy traffic could keep the party goers and fans of Giordano for coming to celebrate.

We came in early at the event’s place, and it felt like walking Canada’s Wonderland again.. so much fun activities – a real classical circus, complete with games like Basket Toss, Something Fishy, Tumble Me, and Ring O’ Bottle.
It is a different kind of event where we were free to roam around, play games and laugh hard. There is no need to worry about using the right silverware laid on the 120″ tablecloths – since we only had popcorn and ice cream! What a joy!

I love this campaign – World Without Strangers
There was a Giordano pop-up store where guests could buy and shop!
Games and prizes galore!

Fire Dancers’ performance made my heart skipped a beat!

Look who’s back? The iconic Classic Shirt!

To celebrate Giordano’s 25th year, the favorite Classic Shirts are back! #BeClassic!

Giordano also showcased the 2014 Fall/Winter Collection which consists of classic pieces –
oxford shirts, Breton tops, long-sleeved tees, denim, khakis, and polos.
They are perfect with Converse shoes!

“Giordano has evolved so much over the past two decades – from just another imported brand to one that’s uniquely Filipino. Filipinos have embraced Giordano’s take on classic and modern pieces which are designed to help build a World Without Strangers. We thank our customers for helping make this happen and for adopting the brand and making it their own,” Larry C. Lim, CEO & President, said.

The night ended with performances by Brownman Revival, Franco and Rico Blanco.
Too bad, we missed it because we were playing oldies and had to go home early because I had another event to cover. I was all ready to rock and party just like how we did it in Glorietta during the World Without Strangers campaign. But, we sure had fun feeling like a kid with the awesome Circus themed party set up by Giordano! Congratulations again to the wonderful 25 years and looking forward to more fashionable years!
