A Very Random Day at Sky Ranch

December 14, 2014

Cartoon Network brings a very random and fun weekend in Tagaytay with a Very Random Christmas event at Sky Ranch.

A two and half hour drive from Makati to Tagaytay in a cloudy Saturday morning didn’t shake our excitement to be in the event. When we arrived, the sky was beaming blue as Cartoon Network, Sky Ranch and Havas Agatep PR welcomed us to an exciting day with fun activities and awesome rides. We felt like kids once again!
The Cartoon Network crew will be at the Amphitheater of Sky Ranch until today, December 14th from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is FREE, so bring your friends, and families!
I was invited to come with two kids, but unfortunately my niece and nephew are not here to celebrate Holiday with us – so I brought my mom and brother with me instead.

What to expect from the Very Random Christmas event?
Fun Games!
Parent-Kid bonding!
More games featuring your favorite Cartoon Network cartoons!
Of course, I joined in the fun!

 Oh hey, I won! Yay!
My mom and brother played games too!
I love how cool the Cartoon Network crew is! The party is for everyone!
In the afternoon, we checked out the Sky Ranch park and we saw Santa Claus and his crew doing rounds around, sending love to all the guests.

It was my first time at Sky Ranch and all I wanted to do was to try the Sky Eye, the highest Ferris Wheel in the Philippines. I thought I had already experienced the death-defying rides in Canada Wonderland, so I would say pass to all the other rides. But hey, we took advantage of our pass, and rode others rides including the Wonder Flight for kids! The park doesn’t offer ride-all-you-can pass, but you have to pay for each ride (PHp50) except for the Sky Eye Php 150.

I love that there was not much crowd when we went, and some of the rides practically had no lines!
Well, that is because, some of the guests chose to enjoy the view of the Taal Lake and stayed in the Gazebo and park. Yup, Sky Ranch has such nice landscape.

And so of course, we tried the Sky Eye. It is at 207 ft – but still the highest I have tried is the one in Canada Wonderland at 230 ft

The Sky Eye moves slowly and doesn’t stop when loading, so we decided not to take my mom Too bad it only takes you to 1 spin.
That’s my mom sitting right there!
Train Ride that took us around the Sky Ranch
Aside from the rides, you can also try the horse-back riding and Avatar Zipline (just like the one in Sandbox)

Thank you so much Cartoon Network, Sky Ranch and Havas Agatep for having me and my family. Thank you too Krispy Kreme and Kenny Rogers for hosting us!
Visit the Sky Ranch today and get to meet Ben 10 and Santa.
