We found a nice hotel in Samal Island which serves breakfast at really affordable price. La Vida Orchard Samal is a bed and breakfast place that is cozy and homey. It felt like staying in a relative’s house.
We got a room with two beds, TV set and a nice restroom with Hot & Cold shower.
There is a beach which is a 3-minute walk from the place. I would have wanted to stay for another day just to chill and enjoy a glass of wine but we miscalculated our itinerary.
We rode a motorcycle going around different spots in Samal (we paid Php 500 for one motor vehicle). We thought it was a good price to pay as it includes our transfer from the pickup point to La Vida Orchard Samal and 2 spots in the island (more on that on the next post).
The breakfast at La Vida Orchard is simple yet filling. We got a hearty champorado, banana, bread and spreads. Really love the coffee too!
You could say, we checked out with a heavy heart.
