Novotel Yangon Max Breakfast Buffet

Our Myanmar Travel Itinerary was very flexible but @anagon and I made sure that we had time for breakfast.

Novotel Yangon Max has one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I had tried. The hotel offers the usual continental breakfast favorites and interesting flavors from different cuisines. The buffet spread has so much color, texture and flavors.

The Novotel Yangon Max breakfast is served at The Square (located at the 5th level). It has a spacious dining area and comfortable seats/couches for couples or groups. Each table provides privacy and personal space.

Guests can enjoy different drink infusions, as well as coffee concoctions and freshly-squeezed orange juice (that’s the bomb!). I don’t usually drink Cafe Latte but I enjoy Novotel Yangon Max’s. It must be the milk!

There is wide variety of freshly-baked pastries and bread, and a cheese platter.

Love the “Egg Station”. As usual, I had my favorite Eggs Benedict.

One of the simplest criteria on how I rate a breakfast buffet is the quality of bacon. For those who love Bacon (like me!) – Novotel Yangon Max gives you two options – soft or crisp bacon.

The buffet spread offers the usual grilled tomatoes, scrambled egg, hash brown, baked beans, etc.

You can also request for different traditional noodle soups of different Asian countries. I would have wanted to try but I didn’t feel like experimenting at that time.

There are salad bar, fruit cups, all-natural yogurt and fresh fruits to go with your breakfast and Instagram feed.

The staff is very friendly and anticipates the needs of the guests. Even the manager makes sure that we got everything we need in the table (including condiments) and he is willing to walk to the other end of the restaurant to serve us.

@anagon is happy about the buffet, too because of the many different options for vegans like her.

I am seriously feeling hungry just by writing this post. Off to the next adventure…
