The Best Gyoza Flavors from Osaka Ohsho

February 5, 2016
Osaka Ohsho Philippines

Osaka Ohsho and Kumori Cafe brings us a taste of good Japanese Gyoza and delightful desserts as they opened new stores in SM North EDSA.

Relish Group, known for bringing international dining concepts in the country invited us to experience a taste of Japanese cuisine – and I am not disappointed
Osaka Ohsho, The King of Gyoza

Osaka Ohsho, the king of Gyoza first opened its flagship store in 2014 and it is one of the most raved Japanese restaurants in town. Last December 28th, Osaka Ohsho opened its second store to bring the authentic Gyoza from Japan to Northern foodies.
I love the signature Gyoza in unique flavors – original, ham and cheese, nori, kimchi and Japanese Curry. Everything is #ruthapproved and much hails to Curry flavor!

Japanese cheesecake gave me a different cheesecake experience, but this Cafe Kumori offered a unique dessert moment for me. “It is Japan Baked Daily” – and we don’t take that literally. But from the dining area we see the open kitchen and skilled bakers preparing the fresh pastries and goodies in a delightful display and colorful spread.
I love the warm ambiance and spacious dining with interesting memorabilia and portraits tracing Kumori’s roots in Nagoya, Japan.
I love Cafe Kumori’s desserts especially the cheesecake  – not-too-sweet and very light. It gives the melt-in-your-mouth feeling and fluffy texture gives the creamy flavor of cheesecake.

If you love beautifully crafted drinks, you would love the garnished milkshakes which comes in different flavors – Matcha Milkshake, Choco Hazelnut and Sweet Corn.
PS: if you are visiting, take lovely pictures of the interior.
