Staycation at Luljetta’s Place Garden Suite and Hanging Garden Spa

There is a secret hanging garden in Antipolo that we discovered 5 years ago and it is such a bliss to re-discover it again.

Okay, we didn’t actually discovered and built the hanging garden. Back in 2013, when the 8-hectare resort under the Loreland Reality & Development Corporation first opened, we got to experience Luljetta’s unique mountainside facilities including the infinity pool over-looking Antipolo, Laguna de Bay and Metro Manila, a massage service with a view, heated Jacuzzi and hydro-massage pool.

After 5 years, we once again headed up Antipolo for a relaxing staycation at Luljettas Place Garden Suites. A lot has changed; but some things remained. I found my zen.

The hanging garden in Antipolo which was once a “secret” place started to become more popular to tourists and locals. The company developed the Luljetta’s Place, Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites to cater to a broader range of market banking on the health and wellness offerings of the resort.

Arriving guests who booked certain packages will be served SuMaKa upon arrival. It is a delicious Filipino snack composed of Suman, Mango and Kasuy – some of the special delicacies in Antipolo.

The Luljetta’s Cafe serves as the reception area of Luljetta’s Place, Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites. I love its Balinese vibe which serves as a resting place for arriving guests. Aside from buffet breakfast, Luljetta’s Cafe also serves lunch and dinner. The menu consists of Filipino favorites but cooked interestingly with different flavors and flair. Don’t forget to try the coolers and shakes. I especially love the Kiwi -flavored cooler.

Luljetta’s Place – Hanging Gardens Spa and Garden Suites kept its charm by making every inch and corner of the resort “instagrammable”. The area feels more “exclusive” with its lush green surroundings and scenic views. 🌼

At the second floor of the Luljetta’s Cafe is the Ibarra’s Hall which guests can rent for special functions, meetings or weddings.

There are “gardens” in the area where guests can freely stay in for meeting, function or just plain relaxing.

Cafe del Eden looks perfect for romantic dinner dates

It is an open–air pavilion with interesting goddess statues

Jardin del Sol is an outdoor venue which can hold up to 50 guests

I can imagine acoustic nights being held here

There is a Koi Fish Pond

(they warned us that it is around 4 feet deep so please look after your kids)

A morning exercise and dip is possible with the lap pool which is just right beside the rooms building

Room and Accommodation

Luljetta’s Garden Suites offer different room accommodations for family, friends and groups. There is Governor’s Suite, Mayor’s Suite, Mykonos Suite, Santorini Suites, Senator Suites and Councilor’s Studio.

We stayed in a Governor’s Suite with a Queen Bed in the first floor and 1 Double Bed and 1 Single Bed on the Loft Area.

The room has the usual room amenities such as hot & cold shower, toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and bath gel), coffee and tea, complimentary bottled water, TV with cable and mini-ref.

Going around the resort is a bliss via the golf cart. From the Luljetta’s Garden Suites, we took the cart and passed by Loreland Farm Resort to Luljetta’s Hanging Garden and Spa.

The Luljetta’s Hanging Garden Reception is a festive venue over-looking the scenic view of Laguna de Bay, Metro Manila and Antipolo. It also houses the old Luljetta’s Cafe where guests can order food and drinks, or just hang around. We spotted a couple of guests who were already in their Batiks. Somehow I felt so out-of-place in my polkadots dress. I felt the immediate need to change.

From the reception, we went down a couple of stairs to get our Luljetta’s Kit! Guests who are scheduled to a massage and body scrub are given a locker room, basket and batik which they can wear inside the Hanging Garden Spa before their scheduled service.

The basket is made of rattan and the Batik cloths are carefully selected by the owners.

Then, it was time for us to explore the Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens and Spa. It is still beautiful and serene with its many tiers and stairs, you cannot miss a corner and spot where you can just sit and relax – and enjoy the view. There were many guests during our visit but I love that everyone seems to respect each other’s space and peace.

Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens also has a Movie Lounge where guests can just relax while waiting for their massage schedule

There are huts and resting places everywhere – even drinking stations.

Steps can be pretty steep but walking will always be a good exercise

The Zen Lounge is like a tree-house which serves as resting place for guests where they can just chill, play games, or enjoy the fish spa.

The Luljetta’s Hydro-Massage Pool is one of the highlights of the Hanging Garden Spa. Lucky that I got a spot for a relaxing hydro-massage even for just a couple of minutes!

The Luljetta’s Infinity Pool is like a canvass of how I wanted my pool in my house – with a bar on the side and a relaxing view of the mountains and the city (and maybe with that elephant accent too!)

Luljetta’s Signature Massage

During our first visit in Luljetta’s we had our massage at the Couple’s Room but since we came as a trio, had our massage at the Massage Room. It is still as relaxing and one of the best massages that I experience. I fell asleep.

One of my favorite spots in the Luljetta’s Hanging Garden is the Buddha Lounge.

I remember we had our Foot Massage here.

How to Go to Luljetta’s Hanging Garden via Commute

Antipolo City bound terminals are strategically located at the following areas:

1. Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City
2. Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas Center, Pasig City
3. SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City
4. EDSA Central, Mandaluyong City
4. Ayala Center, Makati City

The nearest drop off point when riding the LRT is the Santolan Station in Marikina City. Antipolo bound public utility vehicles (FX and Jeep) going to Antipolo Cathedral are available here. Loreland Farm Resort is just a short tricycle ride from the city proper of Antipolo City. Fare is Php 50.00.
